Privacy statement

1. Who are we?

Xonuz is based in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 95600108. For questions about this statement, contact us at info@xonuz.com.

2. What data do we process?

We only process the data you actively give us: your name, email address, phone number and company name when you book a call, use the contact form or run the AI scan. For the AI scan we also store the conversation you have and the scan that comes out of it.

We also collect anonymised usage statistics about this website (no cookies, no personal identification).

3. What do we use it for?

• To get in touch with you about your request.
• To deliver and invoice our services.
• To analyse and improve how the website works.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. How long do we keep it?

We keep your data no longer than necessary. Client data is kept for as long as there is an active relationship, plus the statutory retention period (seven years for accounting records in the Netherlands). Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months.

5. Who do we share it with?

We do not share your data with third parties, except those needed to deliver our services (such as our hosting provider and accounting software). We have data processing agreements with those parties under the GDPR.

Our own systems run on our own server in Europe. The AI scan on this site is the exception: it uses Anthropic's Claude language model, so what you type into the scan goes to Anthropic to produce an answer. Anthropic processes it outside the EU and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train models. So do not put anything into the scan you would not want a third party to hold.

6. Cookies

This website uses no tracking cookies. We measure anonymised website usage with a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) that records no personal data and sets no cookies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data at any time. Email info@xonuz.com to exercise it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. The most recent version is always available on this page.
